- Ranger Aerospace Corporation, a leading acquirer in the
ongoing consolidation of the commercial aviation services industry, announced today the
appointment of Jeffrey P. Hartman as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Hartman was previously Vice President-Finance for Signature Flight Support Corporation, a
very large aviation services company.
Hartman has broad senior level financial experience in the aviation industry and in "Big Six"
accounting. In his five years with Signature, Hartman played a leading financial role in
several mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Signature, he was a Senior Manager with KPMG
(Peat Marwick), overseeing aviation-related and other client accounts. Hartman has a
master’s degree in accounting from Northeastern University, is a licensed CPA, and a long
standing member of the AICPA.
